Read what
some of our guests have had to say about One Olive or Two.
"My family LOVES this cozy beach cottage! We have visited 34B Olive for three years now. Just the perfect size for a romantic
getaway or a small family! Beautifully renovated with lots of upgrades including a tasteful beach theme decor! Every detail in this
cottage shows the pride the owner has in maintaining it!
The location is fabulous! A short walk to the beach, boardwalk, great shops, and restaurants! Just around the corner you can buy fresh baked
pastries and a paper after your morning stroll on the boardwalk. Or rent bicycles at the vendor only a block away for a weekend ride!
My family definitely rates this cottage as 5 STARS!"

"As longtime visitors to Rehoboth Beach, we've stayed at a number
of places ranging from higher-end hotels to inexpensive B&Bs.
While we have enjoyed most of these accommodations, none have
been as enjoyable as our stays at One Olive or Two on Olive Avenue
in downtown Rehoboth Beach.
One Olive or Two has something for everyone: a large beach house with 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths with plenty of room to relax (both indoors
and out) - with its large front porch and rear deck; and the smaller cottage with 2 bedrooms, one bath and a cozy living/dining/open kitchen floor
plan and smaller deck. Both homes share an outside shower, bike rack, and back yard. We've stayed in both the main house and the cottage
and have thoroughly enjoyed them both. Both homes are updated, modern and clean - without the wear and tear that one typically sees in many
hotels and beach houses in vacation areas. Oh, and let's not forget the fireplace in the main house which is great for off-season coziness or for a
cool summer evening.
One Olive or Two is located close to the boardwalk/beach, downtown shops and restaurants, as well as to other attractions such as
Gordon's Pond/Cape Henlopen Park (by bike or car) and has a scenic small lake nearby. Parking is ample and no-hassle, which is an
important plus during the busy summer tourist season.
Each time that we have stayed at One Olive or Two, we've felt
as though we've really had a fabulous getaway from the stresses
that life and work can bring. There isn't anything quite like
being able to set your own schedule and take a leisurely walk
on the beach or boardwalk, eat at a nearby restaurant, go back
"home" and lounge on the porch, deck, or play a game or watch
TV on one of the large flatscreens with cable. One Olive or Two
feels like a wonderful "home away from home" and the kitchen and
grilling facilities are an added bonus for those days/evenings
when one would prefer to either catch their own dinner while surf-fishing
or going to any one of the local fishing spots. Lingo's historic
food market is also just a few blocks over and boasts fresh seafood,
meat, produce, and homemade pies (among many other items) for
a dinner at home. The local farmers' market is just 5 blocks away
each Tuesday during the Spring and Summer months!
I can think of only one potential "hazard" from staying at this wonderful beach house - wanting to live there all year round! It happened
to us, and we are now full-time Rehoboth Beach residents. We do, however, frequently recommend this establishment to family and friends
who want to stay close to the beach in a wonderful large or small home with all of the amenities that one could want at a price that surely beats
any of the much smaller hotel rooms on the waterfront. Connie, the off-site owner, is a fabulous resource for all things local, and she is extremely
conscientious about the property - wanting to be certain that all of her guests have a private, clean, and enjoyable vacation! Since we have
been staying at One Olive or Two, we've seen many major improvements each year, including the new decks, new roofs, new windows,
and the fresh new paint on the smaller guest house. It just keeps getting better!
Thanks for all of the wonderful visits we've had to One Olive
or Two! We can't recommend you highly enough to anyone who might
be interested in spending a vacation at your beach homes!"
